Second, the use of hollow glass ball production of plastics/adhesives
Hollow glass balls can be used to make nylon, PP, PBT, PC, POM and other engineering plastics products, or used to fill rigid PVC, PP, PE, the production of profiles, tubes and plates, as well as VC, PE cables, insulating sheaths and other adhesive products.
1) The density of hollow glass ball is relatively low, under the same space volume, the mass of hollow glass ball is half or even a quarter of the equivalent solid filling material. The use of hollow glass ball plastic/adhesive products can reduce the quality of the product, to a certain extent, to save the production and transportation costs.
2) Hollow glass ball has good fluidity, and even in a variety of organic solutions and acid, alkali solvents can remain stable, not easy to dissolve, corrosion. The use of hollow glass ball plastic/adhesive products can improve production efficiency, the product is not easy to warp, shrinkage, deformation, storage is not easy to corrode or the phenomenon of fiberglass exposure, and effectively improve the cost-effectiveness of the product.
3) The oil absorption of hollow glass ball is much lower than that of conventional solid filling materials. The use of hollow glass balls for plastic/adhesive products can reduce the use of plasticizers, and is an ideal material for the production of molds and PVC soft products.
4) Hollow glass spheres are thermally stable, have a high melting point and do not decompose easily at high temperatures. The use of hollow glass spheres for plastic/adhesive products can improve the performance of products in terms of high temperature resistance, insulation, acid and alkali resistance, etc. The products are easy to store and have the function of heat insulation and heat preservation.
5) The crystalline silica content of hollow glass spheres is below a non-hazardous level. Plastic/adhesive products made with hollow glass spheres do not contain carcinogenic substances and can be used to make food contact grade plastics or standard toy products.
