Different polarity organoclay

Different polarity organoclay is classified into low polarity, medium polarity, and high polarity according to the polarity of the system, matching different oil or solvent systems.

Different polarity organoclay

Different polarity organoclay

Organic bentonite is used in non-polar systems such as mineral oil, diesel fuel, white oil, and paraffin oil. It is used in petroleum-based oilfield drilling fluids, low-temperature lubricants, and anti-corrosion coatings. It has strong thickening ability, good suspension properties, anti-settling properties, and high temperature resistance. It can form a stable gel network structure.

Low Polarity Organic Bentonite

Bentonite CP-34

Organophilic clay is suitable for can the thixotropic properties of low-grade paints, coatings, inks and greases be effectively improved.

Organoclay CP-180

Organoclay is particularly suitable for use in diesel based lubricants, effectively improving their rheological properties.

Organic CLAY CP-40

This polar type can exert better anti-settling performance when used in solvent-based systems such as paints and coatings.

Discover the Benefits of Low Polarity Organic Bentonite

Our low-polarity organic bentonite has excellent dispersibility and thixotropic stability, making it an ideal choice for improving oil machine efficiency in harsh environments. Choose RheologyModifiers and experience exceptional performance.

Rapid dispersion, easy to apply, reduces formulation costs. Some products are pre-activated and contain polar activators for even better results.

Achieving Different polarity organoclay properties using medium-polarity bentonite

Different polarity organoclay: Our medium-polarity organic bentonite has been carefully designed to achieve the perfect balance between rheology and anti-settling properties. It is suitable for use in a wide range of oil-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Middle Polarity Organic Bentonite

Bentonite CP-10

The biggest advantage of this medium-polar organo bentonite is its excellent dispersibility. It can be added directly as dry powder, and of course the effect is better when it is made into a pre-gel.

Organoclay CP-APA

We recommend that you use this polar organoclay in applications where you need particularly good dispersibility and it will quickly develop the rheological properties you desire.

Organic CLAY CP-27

We mainly use CP-27 in cosmetics, where it exhibits good rheological and thixotropic properties.Organoclay bentonite can be applied to applications such as facial creams and lotions.

High Polarity Bentonite

Different polarity organoclay : Our highly polar organic bentonite is designed for demanding applications, providing excellent thickening and suspension properties. It performs well under high pressure conditions, ensuring durability and optimal performance. Trust RheologyModifiers’ bentonite solutions to meet the most demanding requirements. Suitable for high-performance solvent-based applications.

High Polarity Organic Bentonite

Bentonite SG-58

Organophilic clay is suitable for drilling fluids based on mineral oil, diesel oil, and synthetic oil.

Organoclay CP-MPB

As a thickening rheology modifier, it is used in cosmetics such as nail polish and lotion.

Organic CLAY CP-MPZ

Organoclay is a proprietary granular media that is highly effective in adsorbing organic compounds

Different polarity organoclay includes medium-polarity organic bentonites, low-polarity organic bentonites, and high-polarity organic bentonites.

High-polarity bentonite is primarily characterized by its high polarity and is specifically designed for highly polar systems, such as oil-based drilling fluids, oil-based fracturing fluids, or systems containing a large amount of polar additives.

Its main advantage is its excellent dispersibility, enabling rapid thickening without the need for pre-gelation, while also exhibiting resistance to salt and electrolytes. Our organic bentonite is primarily used in oil-based drilling fluids.

Moderately polar organic bentonite is suitable for use in water-in-oil emulsions and alcohol-based systems. In composite systems combining polar and non-polar components, its advantage lies in its strong compatibility and adaptability.

It can disperse in water at certain concentrations and work well with moderately polar solvents without causing phase separation due to the presence of small amounts of water. In fracturing fluids, using moderately polar organic bentonite enhances system stability.

Low-polarity organic bentonite disperses rapidly in pure oil systems, forming stable gels with anti-settling properties. It also exhibits excellent stability at high temperatures.

In basic oil-based drilling fluids, it can control fluid viscosity, prevent wellbore collapse, and has excellent compatibility with diesel and other base oils, eliminating the need for additional additives.
