Organiclay Rheological Additive

The high-quality organiclay bentonite we produce is widely popular in the industrial field. Currently, it is most commonly used in lubricants, inks, cosmetics, adhesives, oilfield drilling fluids, fracturing fluids, paints, coatings, and other fields.

For these applications, whether they are water-based or solvent-based systems, we have corresponding models to recommend to you.

Our products are currently sold worldwide and can effectively replace high-end European and American brands of the same specifications. Due to their cost-effectiveness and consistent quality, they have gained widespread popularity among users.

Organiclay Rheological Additive

CP-26 is a kind of organo clay rheological additive. It is used in systems of non-polar to medium polarity aliphatic and other solvents (ketones, ester, ether esters, alcohols, aromatic). It is a economical grade of easy dispersing organoclay.

Advantages

  • Fineparticle size.
  • The gel is of light colour and high clarity.
  • Easy to use, no need to pre-
  • Consistent development of rheology.
  • Can be used to post correct

Using

It can be added directly in powder without polar activator and making pre-gel. But better performance may achieved if polar activator is added and pre-gel procedure is effected.

The addition is recommended to be before grinding procedure to get the best effectiveness. Addition level is commonly 0.2%~1.0%. Normally addition level of polar activator is about 20%-30% by weight of CP-26.

Organoclay is the commercially available organically modified clay mineral used as a rheology modifier and anti-settling additive in oil-based systems including drilling fluids, solvent-based coatings, and lubricating greases; full product specifications are at organoclay — product specifications and application guide. The organophilic clay surface chemistry, dispersion method, and compatibility with different base oils and solvents are explained in organophilic clay — surface chemistry and industrial applications. To source organoclay directly from a China manufacturer, see organoclay supplier — factory-direct supply and technical support.
