In water-based coatings, we use organic bentonite to solve the thixotropy and anti-settling problems, as well as stability under extreme temperatures.
When adding organic bentonite to water-based coatings, the first problem we solve is the anti-stratification problem, that is, the phenomenon of stratification of water-based coatings. Then we recommend that inorganic bentonite be pre-activated, such as pre-gelling, etc.

It will not only promote dispersion, but also have a very obvious anti-settling effect. Generally, during sea transportation and after 6 months of storage, the viscosity fluctuation will be controlled within 8%. Of course, organic bentonite is also very positive for reducing the cost per ton of coatings.

Our organic bentonite has obtained REACH certification in Europe, and our rheological properties are also particularly obvious. Under low shear, the low polar viscosity of water-based bentonite is 5000cP, and the high shear viscosity is less than 800cP.
We have no limit on the minimum quantity of water-based organic bentonite. If I don’t have stock, we can accept any quantity of your order, and we can also provide 500 grams of samples for you to test.
