Our company manufactures and sells CP series high-temperature stable and traditional economical organic bentonite for grease. We provide corresponding organic bentonite models according to different grease base oils. The aim is to maximize the high-temperature stability, water resistance, and anti-seepage performance of organic bentonite in grease.

The Add Method of Organoclay
1,Make the temperature to 60-80.
2,Stirring while adding organoclay (6-8% of the total system) stirring for 10-20 minutes.
3,Add the polar acrivator (3% carbonate propylene),then add additive,preservatives,antioxidants,metal deactivator,stirring for 25-30 minutes.
4,Use pump make it through the colloid grinding or homogenizer.
5,Outgassing,filtering,then packing the lubricanting grease.

Whether your grease is designed for low-speed, heavy-duty applications or high-speed rotating components, organo bentonite can effectively help you adjust its viscosity to the appropriate level. It will not cause the lubricant to harden nor become too soft, thereby preventing splashing.
Organic bentonite clay additives have excellent compatibility with different base oils, such as mineral oil and synthetic oil. They can be directly added without modifying the formulation, easily achieving thickening and rheological properties in grease.
The recommended addition rate of organic bentonite in grease is between 5% and 10%. Depending on the desired thickening effect, you can adjust the amount accordingly. In any case, organic bentonite in lubricating grease will provide satisfactory rheological properties, thixotropic properties, and anti-settling properties.
In high-temperature environments, such as around 180°C, the CP series of organic bentonite still exhibits significant stability under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.
Organoclay Bentonite For Grease is a kind of purified and modified organoclay rheological additive, designed especially for using in Grease based on synthetic oils such as vegetable oil, polyester oil. It has high gelling efficiency, fine thixotropy and perfect anti-settling.

Application
Bentonite For Grease CP-720A is used in the following applications:
- Grease Lubricant(the base oil is synthetic oil such as middle-high viscosity petroleum, mineral oil, diester oil, polyester oil, vegetable oil etc.)
- Wood coating
Using
When it is used in Grease Lubricant, polar activator is needed. Polar activator is acetone/water(95/5). The dosage of activator is 20%-30% of the weight of CP-720A. And also high shear can promote the dispersing of Bentonite For Grease CP-720A.
Adding procedure as follows:
- If condition permits, heat the base oil to 60~70℃
- Add CP-720A while stirring, addition level is 7%-10% of the total formulation. Stir 5~10minutes
- Add polar activator, addition level is 2%-3% of the total formulation. Then add other additives, stir 25~30m
- Use pump to help it pass colloid grinding and homogenizer.
- Deair, filtrate, pack.
Note: With High-speed dispersant of grinding machine, and properly prolong the dispersing time, better gelatin performance can be reached.
The Lubricanting grease which uses organoclay as thickener will own high dropping point, thus can be used under high temperature and presents good impermeability and water resistance.
