Organoclay anti-sagging type: The anti-sagging type of organoclay is engineered to tackle sagging issues, relying on the physical properties of bentonite that it inherits and optimizes.

A core attribute is its water absorption and swelling ability: upon contact with water,   penetrate the interlayers, expanding the crystal layer spacing and leading to notable volume growth. High-quality sodium-based varieties, rich in montmorillonite, boast impressive swelling multiples (20-30 times or higher), contributing to the formation of a robust structure that prevents sagging.

Its dispersion and suspension capability is equally important—this anti-sagging organoclay disperses into tiny particles (<2μm) in relevant systems, creating a stable colloidal suspension. The this suspension, transitioning between gel (when stationary) and sol (when stirred), plays a vital role in anti-sagging, as it ensures the material maintains stability during application without unwanted dripping or sagging.
