Proper operating procedures are essential for fully leveraging the performance of organic bentonite.

Any careless or improper handling may result in reduced performance.

Common errors include: incorrect addition sequence of activators (adding activators before bentonite) leading to uneven dispersion; insufficient shear time (<15 minutes) causing low gel strength; and excessively high base oil temperature (>80°C) accelerating activator evaporation. The correct operating procedure should strictly follow: heat the base oil to 60-70°C → add bentonite while stirring → disperse for 5-10 minutes → add the activator → stir for 25-30 minutes → colloid grinding → degassing filtration. A certain company established a standardized operating procedure (SOP), provided specialized training for employees, and conducted performance evaluations before allowing them to take up their posts.

As a result, the product performance compliance rate increased from 75% to 99%, and customer complaint rates decreased by 80%, fully demonstrating the importance of standardized operations.
