Efficient use method:
This product can be quickly dispersed and dissolved in organic solvents and resin systems, significantly increasing system viscosity and giving thixotropy. In order to achieve the best dispersion and thickening effect, it is recommended to use one of the following two methods:
1. Pre-gel addition method:
Reasonable control of pre-gel content, recommended 8% to 10%, to balance the dispersion effect and work efficiency.
Use solvents (such as xylene) mixed with the appropriate amount of organic bentonite, slowly put in the medium-speed mixing, and then add ethanol / water (95/5) mixture, high shear dispersion for 15-30 minutes, the formation of uniform pre-gel.
This pre-gel can be added at any stage of the paint mixing process, and the effect is especially good when added before grinding.
2. Dry powder directly into the method:
directly into the organic bentonite dry powder solvent and resin mixing system, high-speed dispersion for 5-10 minutes.
Then add polar activator (such as ethanol or acetone containing 5% water), continue to high-speed dispersion for 15-20 minutes to optimize the dispersion and thickening effect.
Add other additives, pigments and fillers as required to complete the formulation adjustment.
Packaging and Storage Guide:
This product is packaged in 25kg environmentally friendly paper bags for easy transportation and storage. It is recommended to be stored under dry conditions at room temperature to ensure stable product performance and a shelf life of up to two years.
