In thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), the temperature at which 5% weight loss occurs reaches 280°C, significantly higher than the 200°C of traditional lithium-based grease.

In practical applications, synthetic ester lubricants containing organic bentonite can achieve a drop point of over 220°C, passing the GB/T 4929 drop point test standard, and can be used long-term in engine blocks, high-temperature bearings, and other components.

Bench tests conducted by a certain automotive engine manufacturer showed that bearings using this grease, after continuous operation at 180°C for 1,000 hours, exhibited grease loss of only one-third that of traditional products, with bearing wear reduced by 40%, effectively addressing the industry-wide challenge of lubrication failure under high-temperature conditions.
