ALDEHYDE RESIN
ALDEHYDE RESIN : The appearance of ketone resins is colorless or light yellow. It can be dissolved in paint solvents but not in water. It is an excellent paint additive that can efficiently enhance paint adhesion, gloss, solid content, and fullness. It can also improve the paint’s surface yellowing resistance.

We recommend storing ketone aldehyde resin in a well-ventilated, cool, and dry place with a shelf life of typically 24 months.
The biggest advantage of ketone resins is its high compatibility with most solvents. It can enhance the paint’s gloss, hardness, adhesion, and has strong yellowing resistance. It has excellent wetting, solubility, and dispersibility with some fillers in the paint. It can increase the solid content of the paint.
In terms of compatibility, ketone resin can be compatible with the following paint raw materials: alkyd resin, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate butyrate, petroleum resin, phenolic resin, urea-ketone resins, epoxy resin, rosin resin, vinyl chloride copolymer, acrylic resin, polyurethane resin, chlorinated rubber, phthalate plasticizers, melamine-formaldehyde resin, polyamide resin, etc.
ketonic resin can also be dissolved in most paint solvents like aromatic solvents: hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, esters but not in water.
ketone resin is a condensation product of urea (or urea derivatives) and aldehydes (especially formaldehyde), which can undergo chemical or heat curing. It can be widely used in paints and adhesives due to its fast drying and good dry adhesive strength. It can also be used to produce pigment dispersions and as an auxiliary adhesive in the paint and printing industry. It forms lightfast, hard, and scratch-resistant films.
Ketone Resin: Due to its wide compatibility, low solution viscosity, and ability to promote rheology and transparency by binding some pigments, we choose ketone aldehyde resin for adhesives and paint coatings. It can be applied to powder coatings and can replace 15% of epoxy resins. Its low melt viscosity can improve flowability. It can be applied to general color pastes and ketonic resin to substitute 20% of solids to improve gloss, texture, flowability, stability, and yellowing resistance.
Packaging and Storage: We package it in 20kg or 25kg kraft paper bags with a PE liner. Then palletize with plastic pallets or fumigation-free pallets. We recommend not stacking two pallets together during palletization as this may cause blocky substances to stick together, affecting performance. It is recommended to use within 12 months.
