micro glass beads
Micro glass beads : Lightweight glass microspheres can be applied to epoxy resins, lightweight mortars, adhesives, and plastics. They are used as fillers to thicken materials while ensuring uniform wetting, providing a non-slip surface, and offering good scratch resistance. They are particularly suitable for some paints.

Hollow glass microspheres are mainly used in sealant compounds, composite foam plastic blocks for boat hulls, decks, and buoyant materials, as well as in concrete, plaster products, rubber products, adhesives, coatings, rubber, electrical insulation components, engineering plastics, and oilfield drilling fluids.
Their appearance is a white powdery chemical product known for its high strength, low density, excellent electrical insulation properties, and superior sound and thermal insulation properties.
Hollow glass microspheres have good dispersibility like mineral fillers due to their thick walls and high compressive strength. They increase the hiding power of coatings due to their spherical shape that slows and scatters light, reduce gloss levels, enhance hardness, wear resistance, and lower viscosity for improved flow during application.
They are used in rubber products to modify engineering plastics like nylon and PP. They improve plastic flow, prevent warping, enhance flame retardancy, and reduce production costs.
In water-based industrial paints, they can reduce film permeability, increase hardness and wear resistance, control costs, and gloss levels.
The hollow glass microspheres are packaged in 10 kg bags but can be customized based on customer requirements. They appear as free-flowing white powder with hollow sealed spherical shapes visible under a microscope.
It is recommended to store them in a well-ventilated dry and cool place with humidity below 40% for a shelf life of 24 months. Avoid breakage during production and use by feeding material from the side or top feeders.
Before opening the packaging, avoid moisture. Use dust removal equipment when opening the packaging and advise workers to wear goggles and dust masks while using the product. Use dust removal equipment in the area of use.
