CP-992 Specific Products
CP-992: A quaternary ammonium treated organobentonite designed to enhance the performance of oil-based mud systems. In drilling fluids, it significantly enhances mud carrying capacity and chip extraction efficiency. When added to water-in-oil drilling fluids, CP-992 rapidly increases yield point and gel strength, is suitable for diesel-based drilling fluids and exhibits excellent rapid dispersion. The recommended dosage ranges from 5.7 to 28.5 kg/m³, but the optimal concentration should be determined by test according to the specific mud formulation.
